Food Lovers are spread across the city and the hunt for the best spot would never end as the pearl city have numerous joints serving the authentic dishes. So here's the hit list you got to watch out for.

Shah Ghouse
Shah Ghouse Cafe is a very popular hotel located in Shalibanda. Known for its Hyderabadi Haleem and other delicacies like the Biryani & Paya.

Angaara - Kababs On Charcoal
Located in Kondapur near Kothaguda Cross roads, Angaara serves mouthwatering Kababs along with Biryani and Chinese continental delicacies. Grilled Chicken is a must try at this place. They also have branches at Himayath Nagar and Gachibowli.
Mataam-al-arabi
Mataam-al-arabi is located in a place called Barkas. Barkas is a largely arab dominated suburb of Hyderabad. And here, the Mandi and the Kabsa rule over the Biryani. This Arabic Cuisine Speciality restaurant was started in 2005.
This restaurant has no tables or chairs. We have to sit on the floor. The food comes in a traditional big thali / plate. This place is a must for Arabic food lovers. Minimum of 3-4 people getting in to have a superlative thali is recommended.
Sarvi
Sarvi bakers and restaurant are branch of hotels which have everything available for a Hyderabad foodie. Right from chai (tea), biscuits, cakes, onion samosa, Mutton Dum Biryani and yes not to forget the mouth watering Haleem during the festive seasons

Alpha Hotel
Alpha hotel is one of the oldest landmarks which is near by to Secunderabad Railway station. You would get all variety of Hyderabadi Confectioneries, you just have to name it.

It all started with a Mutton Shop which always has a queue on weekends for meat and this took over this place with another section of crown gathering for food. This place has superb Mutton Starters, authentic Mutton Biryani. They recently started serving Marag (Mutton Soup) with bread.
